4/23/2012 - Fishing was pretty lousy in Chokoloskee today (meaning I caught nothing kosher.)
I caught approximately 8 Catfish and while wading, I caught a Bonnethead Shark [see below].

The best part was while paddling back, dolphins (porpoises)started swimming around me. They were hard to photograph, but here's what I got:

5/20/2012 - Indian River (Bear Point), Fort Pierce, Florida - Fishing started off pretty horribly using live shrimp, as all I caught was one Catfish after another. Everything changed when a couple of guys on a passing boat gave me a big trout they caught as well as the MirrOLure Mr17 which they used to catch it. At that point, I began catching one trout after another. Later in the afternoon, I resumed using my live shrimp over an area where grass flats were interspersed by sandy dropoffs. It was then that I caught some Snapper and MY FIRST EVER REDFISH!

6/29/2012 - Lake Ashmere, Hinsdale, Massachusetts - Cheryl and I went freshwater fishing in the beautiful Lake Ashmere while visiting my parents. While fishing on the canoe (close enough for this site), Cheryl caught a MONSTER Largemouth Bass (which we ate for Shabbos...yum).

8/19/2012 - Key Largo, Florida - Michael and I went fishing by Card Sound Bridge before continuing on to our hotel by the backwaters of Key Largo. It was a slow day, but I caught a nice Spanish Mackerel.

8/29/2012 - Indian River (Bear Point), Fort Pierce, Florida - Spent the day fishing with the other two kosher kayak fisherman (see above) - Joey Loskove and Shlomo Veingrad. I learned what a 'Calcutta' was that day and I also won it...with a 24" Gator Trout!

Before I acquired my TARPON 160, I briefly owned a Native Watercraft Manta Ray 12 which I used for my -
